Handheld Bidet – A Simple Way to Better Personal Hygiene

Posted by Smurfette On February - 24 - 2009

Where I grew up, I was used to having handheld bidets in our bathrooms. It is a common bathroom accessory in Asia. However, when I got to the States, I was surprised that people only have toilet paper in the bathroom.  How do they clean themselves?  When I was still in school I have no other choice but bringing wet tissue everywhere I go.  But once I owned my own home, I bought handheld bidets and had my husband install them in our bathrooms.  In my opinion, cleaning with streaming water is a lot more hygienic than just cleaning yourself with only toilet paper.

I got my bidet from Sanicare and here’s what they have to say about benefits of bidet:

Sanicare is a practical way to achieve better hygiene by providing a sanitary and soothing alternative to toilet tissue. Cleanrite means less wiping of sensitive genital and rectal areas and thus less irritation.

I am trying to reach as many people as I can. Spread the word! DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY! Never in my life have I been treated this poorly and insulted by the Customer Service! I practically was told by their rep who subsequently represented himself as the owner of the company, that since they are the only company that carries the bidet products, they can treat their customers any way they want and that they really do not care about customer service! With that they had canceled my order because I was a women. Yes, I was actually told that I was not talking respectfully to the man on the phone. My order number was 23448, ordered 11/6/2010, canceled 11/10/2010. I have a confirmation email from them. I would not blame you if you did not believe this story, but it is the honest true. Do not even want to mention all other insults from them!
