What a great idea introduced by Stuart Haygarth to make a luxe chandelier from unwanted objects: thousands of used unwanted prescription spectacles. The result displaying a giant bubble chandelier made from crystal like spectacles – brilliant! If You pay attention to the above picture the spectacle burst out a very nice spectrum of light to its surrounding.

The 1.5m diameter chandelier, which contains 3,000 lenses, was premiered at the Trash Luxe exhibition at Liberty in London last month.
Haygarth gets the lenses from from a charity that ships used spectacles to the developing world.
