Portray of a Classic Romance from Twilight Series

Posted by editor On December - 12 - 2009

Pictured above the main stars from Twilight and New Moon from Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight Saga Book Collection: Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen and Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan.

Belive it or not they did a very good job casting for Edward and Bella character, both actrors are a suitable fit beyond believe. Not only they both looks good on camera but they are very photogenic with a special charm effect in every picture taken. I’ve been looking at some pre-wedding and wedding pictures however nothing have that ‘forever-romance’ sense and look and feel as these couple has (I guess it takes a good acting skill to do this kind of capture then).

Here’s some classic romantic pictures worth to observe (especially those into wedding/romance photography with a taste of fashion):

Amazingly Glamourous Wedding Ceremony and Reception

Posted by editor On May - 21 - 2009

This wedding is glamorous from every way starting from the lavishly decorated wedding cake with more than 10 tiers making its own statement by its elegant placement from floor to ceiling covered with white flowers – looks like white roses.

Then followed by the altar decoration for the blessing ceremony – it’s just marvelous. Who make all this happen? You must be wondering if this is a top notch celebrity wedding party and event. Indeed this all happen “halfway across the world” as Roseanne Dela stated in weddingbells’ blog.
This Jakarta based wedding in Indonesia decorated by a very talented event and floral designer name Nefianto Setiono famously known as Nefi. I am a big fan of Preston Bailey but to be honest Nefi is really creative and when you really come to see his portfolio you’ll be blown away by his innovative decorations.

And who made all this wonderful event into a beautiful memory to enable all of us to share with each other?
Thanks to David from Axioo Photography – one of a kind photographer with a unique twist that will never bore you. His innovative angle and humorous approach truly made a lasting memory in a sweet way.

A house furnish with shells for celeb’s wedding decoration

Posted by editor On April - 29 - 2009

I believe this picture is taken on one of celebrity’s wedding. I just want to share this thoughtful decoration – to put sea shells all along exterior walls as decoration, sure it will make you feel not too far from beach. This is a good idea to have beach theme wedding without the beach =)

Wedding and Party Gowns

Posted by editor On February - 24 - 2009

Inspiration for wedding and party gowns? hmm… I found this wedding gown as I browse online, it’s such an inspiration not just because it looks lovely but it is well thought with layers of delicate tulle and chiffon as well as laces. The above wedding gown is designed by Adrian Gan a famous Indonesian fashion designer. In general flowers especially Rose will always be a classic choice, especially for a wedding. However other type of flowers can also make a good and outstanding statement such as shown bellow in Vera Wang’s Luxe Callalily collection (approximate retail for $6,000-$18,000). Flower has been a popular and classy choice of many gown and ornament designer, so never think of it as an out dated fashion – especially for a wedding ball either for the bride or the attenders.

But if you want to go a little different or perhaps simpler (without the busy look of many flowers attached on your body) then try to wear Vera Wang’s gown that introduce slight color combination while still keeping the simple sweet look of a bride, if you don’t feel comfortable to wear it for that big day there’s always another option: to wear it as an evening gown for a special occasion instead.

#1 Tirtha Uluwatu Chapel, Tirtha Property, Bukit, Bali

I think this is an outstanding piece of architecture, in term of setting, scale and building esthetic I am drawn to this!
This is not just such a beauty for a piece of architecture and design but also a piece of beauty for its purpose: a wedding chapel!
How romantic to have such a beautiful floating chapel set against the tip of the most beautiful cliff of Uluwatu, Bali. Uluwatu known for the best sunset viewing. So just imagine to have an intimate party at a romantic chapel set in a tropical garden above the clif looking over the vast Indian Ocean.

here’s some description from TRENDS magazine:

The chapel appears to float in water on the edge of the cliff-top, high above the Indian Ocean. Although the other pavilions feature local materials, all the products used in the construction of the chapel were imported.

“Tirtha means holy water, which is another reason for the setting,” says Parker. “The design was also influenced by the old palaces around Bali and Java, which were built around moats and ponds. The setting itself provides a sense of prominence and significance.”
The air-conditioned chapel can seat 40 guests and has standing room for another 20. With its raised wedding podium and altar, and the vast horizon of the ocean as a backdrop, the entire atrium creates an illusion of infinity, say the owners.

Well how do you feel about walking between water, elevated 2 meters above the ground, looking towards this huge triangle, for that bridal aile walk???

Newly opened in Oct 2006, the Infinity Chapel is surrounded by flowing water. There is a story about the design – the chapel is fantastic outlook means the husband always protects and gives his beloved warmth. And the wife is standing by his husband, giving him full support. Facing the ocean and beach, Infinity Chapel is perfect location for photo shooting during the ceremony. Boasting 117 sqm of floor space with a ceiling height of 12 m, the interior of Infinity is beautifully simple with elegant marble floors, floor to ceiling, ocean facing glass frontage and a transposable seating plan that comfortably receives 60 guests, making the fully air-conditioned building the perfect location for exclusive events and special celebrations.

Wedding vow beach style in Bulgari, Bali

Posted by editor On July - 19 - 2008

Destination wedding has become quite popular recently. Here’s one example of beach wedding conducted in Bvlgari, Bali. If it is an intimate small wedding, very private with a private beach access that no one else can claim except you then you might consider to have it in this kind of setting.

It is quite peaceful and serene for a wedding to take place, don’t you agree?

The Bulgari Resort, Bali, becomes the special setting for exclusive weddings bearing the Bulgari mark of elegance and style. Four different wedding experiences for four different settings chosen for its celebration: the Water Wedding, the Beach Wedding, the Bale Wedding, the Pavilion Wedding.
Each Bugari wedding proposal includes flowers and decorations by a world-renowned floral designer, traditional Balinese performance, champagne for the toast, an exclusive Bulgari wedding certificate holder and a white Bulgari pen.

Ice bars, Ice hotels and now… Ice weddings!

Posted by editor On July - 12 - 2008

Finally, proclaiming your white wedding can be a reality – everything will be in white including your venue setting –> a venue completely crafted from ice! Bellow is showing a wedding in an ice church .

Eternal vows in an ephemeral church
The need to show respect, to focus on one’s own thoughts and reflect on the nature of things is a feeling you get from an encounter with ICEHOTEL. Many pieces of life’s puzzle seem to fall into place here, in the ice chapel on the Torne River.

The ceremony and the unique experience of the place, the ice, the snow and the almost unreal environment leave no-one untouched. And perhaps the shared memories and experiences are stronger for the very reason that the chapel is impermanent. When no architectural memento exists, the memories and the vows exchanged are especially cherished.
