How to make your butt pumpier

The Booty Push-up - Butt Booster Band

It’s very common to hear about the padded boyshorts or padded panty/underwear where they have that extra padded portion at the back of the panty to add more volume to the butt.

It does work fine I think, but sometimes it doesn’t appear THAT natural.

What if you just want that extra push-up to the butt? or to have that firm look underneath your jeans, the sort of look we find so common in “push-up bra” under a tank top but we just want it for the butt.

Might be a good thing to try-on go here. And these push-up band available just as bands or even with capris and tigh-shapper options.

They are made available from bubbles butt boosting lingerie / bubble butt booster.

Facial - the tool of the trade

19 May, 2008 (12:54) | beauty | By: editor

skincaretooldouble loop extractor

I kinda go overboard with cleanliness issue, so when it come to having a facial I just gotta do it myself. Well it’s true, I used to go to facial and couldn’t figure out what the beautician used to extract those blackheads, whiteheads, or zits till later I found out they are using this double loop extractor tool and sometimes needle (ouchh). So from then on I did my research and gotta have my own facial tool (skin care too), aside from all those masking & face care items, now I add doing this regular extraction to my face care and I just lovin my skin =) since.

Tip I’d share: I don’t go to facial spa anymore cuz everytime I visit, I’d have pimples on my face couple days after having a treatment. So it’s not just about the cleanliness, but the after-effect isn’t so good for me either.

The many shapes of brazilian wax

18 May, 2008 (18:00) | beauty, fashion | By: editor

It’s a usual thing to happen when a server hands on a menu to you at a restaurant or bar but menu for a brazilian wax? It is weird to see and experience it at first, but it really is helpful. Check this out:

brazilian menu

Now that I get used to the menu thing on brazilian stylistic choices such as heart shape, stamp, triangle, strip, square, you name it LOL ;) this website even brings it further the male brazilian wax menu,… see it for your self here!

I hope no body takes it personal, I blog about this cuz I thought it might be a useful info for some and kinda silly funny thing to write about (*giggle*, I can’t stop)

Laser Hair Removal Consequences - Brazilian Waxing

18 May, 2008 (15:59) | beauty, fashion, health & diet | By: editor

All women acknowledge good things when it come to “hairless fashion trend” that become more popular these days in our society, especially when spring/summer arrives. Brazilian wax is quite a regular, at least for me and among my female friends, but when you have to do it every so often sometimes kinda wonder of that laser option that promise to have it permanently remove (so don’t have to bother with regular waxing). As I researched more with the topic I came across this article (that really makes me stick with the regular waxing icon smile option):

Popularized in an episode of Sex in the City, it involves removing all body hair.

At Spa Radiance, the hairless look is growing in popularity. Angelina Umansky, owner, Spa Radiance: “This year has been the biggest year for Brazilian waxing ever at the Spa.”

Twenty-year-old Stella Chung is a regular client. Stella Chung, hair waxing client: “I want to make sure it’s clean there, and for hygiene issues, too.

” What about the pain? Angelina Umansky, owner, Spa Radiance: “We don’t use a lot of numbing creams because they take awhile to kick in. But we do small patches.”

Stella Chung, hair waxing client: “Initially, when I first got it done, of course it hurt. It’s more like a stinging feeling. But it’s really fast and quick. But when you get it done everything, three weeks or not, you get used to it.” And Stella says her partners prefer it, too.

Stella Chung, hair waxing client: “Usually, the partners that I’m with, they prefer the bare because I think it’s a whole trend thing.”

In fact, for an entire generation, hairless is becoming the new standard of beauty. For almost any female between 15 and 25, the message seems to be bare is better.

Male, name withheld: “It shows they just try to take care of their bodies. You know, like it portrays them more like femininity when it’s not so, when it’s hairy.”

Male, name withheld: “I’m just not attracted to hair, I guess. I don’t know. It’s not something that is appealing.”

Female, name withheld: “I know a lot of guys prefer it, and I know a lot of guys joke about women not being hairless in certain areas, and it is kind of weird. So I think there are social pressures to conform to being more hairless these days, for sure.Even in high school - that’s where it started, and it’s just getting to the point where most women are.”

There are real concerns here. First, this body hair has lots of functions, including providing protection and lubrication for tender tissues. And while shaving or waxing all your body hair is one thing, many women are turning to lasers for hair removal. But with any laser, there is the potential for burns and serious infections, like triggering a herpes outbreak.

For Berkeley physician Christine Brozowski, the demand for total laser hair removal is skyrocketing.

Christine Brozowski, M.D., physician and laser specialist: “It’s just a very popular thing.” She cautions in untrained hands, patients could be harmed.

Christine Brozowski, M.D., physician and laser specialist: “I think that laser procedures in general are very safe. However, when used not in the proper hands there is a greater chance of having a complication such as hyper, hypo pigmentation (those are changes in the skin color), or infection, or burning.”

She routinely pre-treats a lot of patients with an antiviral medication to prevent a herpes outbreak. Laser hair removal requires several treatments, six weeks apart to destroy the hair follicles during their growth cycle.

That leads to one more caution: Christine Brozowski, M.D., physician and laser specialist: “Your hair is not going to grow back. So you need to know that. It’s not a six-week thing. It’s that your hair is not going to grow back.”

Even more than tattoos or piercing, this is one fashion trend you may be stuck with for life.

Further complicating the problem is that many teens and young adults are getting treated at spas or salons - not at dermatologist’s office. So the risk of infection and burns is far greater.

Making eyes appear bigger by putting on make-up and eyelid tapes

16 May, 2008 (21:42) | beauty | By: editor

The other day I was trying to make my eyes appear bigger just like the make-up artist did for my wedding day, and as I researched I came across Jen’s blog, to my suprise she diligently put on this eyelid tapes and make-up tip tutorial, very useful.

Hey guys, just thought I’d do a little tutorial for the girls who are single-lidded and want to know how to apply makeup with eyelid tape. It seemed like a useful thing to do.

A little info to start with from Jen:

*What are single-lids and double lids? Single lids are eyelids that don’t have a crease above the lash line. Double lids do. There are many naturally double-lidded and single-lidded Asians in the world.

*What is eyelid tape? Eyelid tape is a small, curved strip of medical tape used to form a crease on the eyelid. Some say that it stretches out the lid, but I find that if you put some water on the tape at the end of the day, it comes off with no tugging.

And here’s the tutorial:

Step 1. First, apply the tape. Try to make it so that the crease is a natural size for your eye shape and size.

Step 2.
Next, apply highlighter (color 1 in the revlon palette) to the brow bone. Use a medium shade (color 3) and apply color to your lid above and to the outside of the tape. The color should fade in, about 2/3 of the way into your lid.

Step 3.
Add a darker color (color 4) as contour to your lid. Try taking a smaller brush and running it along the area right beneath your brow bone. It should almost make a “c” shape and the color is stronger at the edges, and blended in.

Step 4.
This is the key to looking natural! Take a black, matte liquid liner and draw a line that covers the space under the tape and also slightly on top of the bottom edge of the tape from inside to out. It is especially critical to cover the tape on the inner half of your eyelid, as this is the part most likely to show when your eyes are open. Be patient and take it slow since this part can get tricky!
Note: you can cover more of the tape with eyeliner for a more dramatic look, or cover it completely and put black eye shadow around the tape for a smokey-eye. Just make sure to match the liner on the tape and the liner on your skin so it is seamless.

Step 5.
Curl your lashes with an eyelash curler and apply Max Factor Lash Perfection Waterproof mascara to top and bottom lids. (I prefer to use the non-waterproof version on just my bottom lashes as it makes them longer and less sticky.)

Hope this will help

Eyelid Tapes

15 May, 2008 (01:18) | beauty | By: editor

eyelid tapeEver wonder how to get those creases going right on you? Well I found out about eyelid tapes, usually these are use for people with single eyelids (no crease above the lashes) so that they can make a crease, but people with double lids can use this too, to make their eyes appear bigger by putting eyelid tapes above their original creases. In States, eyelid tapes are quite a rare find, however I discovered that some nerve doctors use eyelid tapes for their patients who has weak eyelids (due to somekind of a nerve problem) which require support. To see the transformation of beautifying and enchancing those particular eyes’ looks you desire try to see what eyelid tapes can do right here.

Invisible Pads

intimissimi gel pad
Not every woman will enjoy the benefit of using corset for a body enchancement. We all know it works well but for most women it’s a pain stalking thing so I found out that they only wearing it for a party or to a very special occasion. This is because, yes we all know, IT IS SO TIGHT!!! Often we’ll hear things like “can’t breath right, can’t even take in any food.” Why women have to go through this to just be able to look good? No we’re not THAT pitiful as to scrunch into a corset every so often, cuz thesee days there are so many good available options like push-up bras and nu-bra (those with silicon filling and stick to your breasts sometimes it can bring your breasts down instead of lifting it up, although it can create a cleavage, and that’s not the look you want - believe me). It’s just that sometimes these stuff just doesn’t give that perfect exposure you want as what corset did. So if looking for a perfect push-up bra that will suit you perfectly seems impossible than I think intimissimi gel pad might just be the option. I tried it in a bra that doesn’t have that pocket fitting, it works perfectly and look just so fine.

Corset Push-up

13 May, 2008 (00:03) | beauty, fashion | By: editor

body suit corsetcorset body suitI think corset push-up or what some store might refer to as body shapers or shapewear will give good upper breasts enhancement for the body, however what I don’t like is their straps portion, cuz it doesn’t give any flexibility to wear any tubeless dress or strapless dress. The one called underbust corset certainly give a better flexibility.

curse of the golden flowerI always wonder how to get that full breast look especially for tube dress. I went on for a deep shopping search just before my wedding, asking everyone I know just as easy as “Do you know how to get that full breast look like those women in The Curse of The Golden Flower?” haha it does sounds a little weird, no? But actually it doesn’t at that time though. Anyhow I finally find something called underbust corset, I was so happy that I found it I told my mom about it being the secret of getting the look of women in “Golden Flower” and interestingly she even bought one herself =D.

Anyone wanting that full-breast look, especially brides-to-be (gonna be great under a tube or strapless wedding gown) perhaps it’s good to try owning some of these from absolutecorsets or lauren silva

Celebrity’s Beauty Secrets - weight management

chamomile tea

celery juiceAny weight complaints at all? maybe should try some of these celeb tips. I actually did try the tea suggestion, and I didn’t figure out how it actually work till I heard that you actually need to drink at least a glass of tea before and after meal, not just as you like it. It really does work on that slimming process, cuz tea actually prevent absorption of food if you do take it before meal, and help faster digestion (throw out all those oil excess from food) if you take it after meal. Hope this’ll help. Opss ya about that Donna Karan’s blend, I do heard that celery can make you slim because the body takes more calories to process the digestion of celeries compare to the calories the celeries bring for the body, hmm confusing but it’s the truth =p (give it a try snacking those celeries for getting rid of those extra pounds, lol)

“Daisy Fuentes has a quick weight lose trick of drinking one liter of chamomile tea and one liter of water daily– the combination accelerates fat burning!Diana Ross stays in shape by doing her own housework! “Cleaning is a tremendous stress reliever and keeps my body taut, ” says Miss Ross.

Supermodel Giselle Bundchen stays shapely by pouring hot stuff on her food for a natural thermogenic burn.

Donna Karan does a quick slim down by blending cabbage, apple, parsley, carrots, and celery in a juicer and drinking it for a day or two.

Susan Lucci observes a Portuguese diet staple– she snacks on sardines because their omega-3 fatty acids are essential for smooth skin.”
